Mailing for Vote on Document Normalization going out May 8, 2020
Dear Fellow Surf Pines Homeowners, On March 20, 2020, Surf Pines Association’s (SPA) Board of Directors approved referral of Covenants, Conditions and Restriction (CCR’s) and Bylaws consistent with the Oregon Planned Community Act to members for consideration. Previously, SPA lacked CCR’s which are required by Oregon law. The Inspectors of Elections (tievote.com) is confidentially managing this process. This week they will begin mailing ballots and information to members. Voting can be done either on-line or via US mail. For this to pass, seventy-five percent of eligible homeowners must vote in favor it. It has taken a long time and a tremendous amount of work to get to this point. Kayak and Canoe Group Surf Pines
Hey Surf Pines Peeps. The Shady Pines Irregulars have started a socially safe Kayak and Canoe Group. Last Monday The Limbird’s, Seppa’s, Rogie’s and Smiths had the first run on Monday May 4. We ran down to the bridge from the South end of Neacoxie lake to the bridge. We picked up Bonnie and Mel near their place and went to the bridge. It was a fun couple of hours and we got lots of chasing done and some exercise to boot. (see Kay’s Pictures) We all agreed this is a hoot and want to do this again. COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EXTEND COVID-10 EMERGENCY MEASURES
The Clatsop County Board of Commissioners voted Wednesday to extend both the county’s emergency declaration related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the emergency order closing hotels, vacation rentals and campgrounds to May 31.
