What to do with your cans and bottles with new Recycle rules!

Greetings Surf Pines community,

My name is Marlie Haggren.  My husband Matti and I live on Ocean Drive with our two young boys Oskar and Hank, and our beloved Dachshund, Nancy. My boys attend Anchor Christian Academy, a local school in Hammond, where I serve on the PTA.  Because we’re a private school and don’t receive any federal funds, we do a lot of fundraising to support the small school.  One of the ways we fundraise is by collecting and recycling people’s unwanted cans and bottles.  All of the proceeds go directly to the Anchor Christian Academy PTA which uses the money to fund extracurricular activities, new equipment, and general maintenance around the school grounds.

If you are looking to get rid of your cans on a regular basis you are welcome to drop them by my house or if we are not home, by our woodshed, and I will recycle them for you.  Our school would be so blessed and grateful for your help! Our address is:Haggrens 89925 Ocean Drive.

Blessings,
The Haggrens
