| TEAA: Beginning Watercolor Class Announcedby Gearhart City Staff Trail’s End Art Association in Gearhart announces Watercolor: The Basics You May Have Forgotten, a series of four classes in April to be taught by Gheri Fouts. The class is designed for those who want to get started with watercolor painting and those who want a review of the basics to restart their painting.Gheri brings a rich background of experience to this popular class. Although she spins wool, knits and weaves, it is watercolor the medium she prefers. She has studied with Judy Fredrickson, Royal Nebeker, Eric Weigard, Keiko Tanabe, Shirley Dahlsten, and Faeline Lin in addition to the classes she has taken at Clatsop Community College. She has shown her paintings at Trail’s End as a Featured Artist and at Cannon Beach Art Association Gallery. Gheri is a member of the San Diego and Honolulu Watercolor Societies. Gheri comments, “I enjoy working with watercolor. When I have finished a painting, I feel the lingering adventure of communicating an emotion on paper.”  Classes will meet on April 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Trail’s End Art Association studio, 656 A Street, Gearhart.
