The Safety & Security Committee will meet at the Meeting House at 2:30-4 Wednesday, May 12 to outline the initial functions of the committee. 

Re-formation Meeting of Surf Pines Safety & Security Committee
– Identify the scope & goals of the Committee
– Identify the roles of sub-committees
– Outline relationship with County Sheriff, Animal Control, Fire
– Establish future meeting schedule

From Ken and Shawna Weist

Hi everyone ! I want to give you an update on Shawna. She is going to be home for a while recovering. She broke her left elbow and tore a ligament. She also fractured her right wrist and just for good measure tore her left knee up as well .

This unexpected event has been really hard for Shawna to adjust but each day she’s getting a little more chipper. I believe it’s from all the beautiful flowers and great food that has been showing up daily.

We really appreciate all the kindness the community has shown us.  We are truly blessed. Thank you Surf Pines.

As a result, I will be juggling times around for the many different appointments Shawna has scheduled. Please be patient with me as I adjust to changes at home. I assure you my daily responsibilities will be achieved and if i need help I will reach out.
