The German Shepard that attacked and killed Iverson’s little dog Roscoe is back.
Vicky Tarbert-Iverson 13 mins · Just a heads up. I wanted to alert the neighborhood to the fact that the German Shepard that attacked our Lil’ Rosco in July is in the neighborhood once again at 89727 Sea Breeze Dr. The fence to this residence (located on the Manion Drive side) was damaged by windstorm and has a large piece missing (mesh netting stapled to close the opening) so the German Shepard has access out of the yard. The dog in question viciously lunged the opening as my husband was walking by this morning with our new little family member. PLEASE, be cautious when out walking on your own, with your pets or when…

Gate crashed through again seventh time.
One of our delivery vans tried to piggy back through the gate. Got them. Camera shows it was a Parcel Delivery van, which hit the gate Tuesday at bit before 12:41 PM. Person came back and put gate against road out of way. Completely blew through it trying to piggy back another car. The driver did report to police and has insurance to cover damage. This time they tore out the wire harness so we needed to order a new arm from our gate vendor. As protocol, we left gate open till fixed. Probably a good thing with the big storm that hit Wednesday. Why does this keep happening? Some think it is…

Questions about our new gate.
There have been several questions on why our gates are being broken so often and the costs to SPA. Here are some answers from what I know. Tom Question:Are we breaking even on the maintenance/replacement of these new gates? It seems like it is taking quite a while for the newness to wear off the public to realize they are there and need to be respected. When I look at these bills I am surprised at the costs and I wanted to know if the offenders are compensating us for their carelessness in each case. Driving through a closed or closing gate seems to be more common now than before when we…
