    Surf Pines New Book Lending Box at Gate House.

    Surf Pines now has its own Lending Book Box located at the porch of our Gate House. Ravi a super handyman built the Book Lending Box at Sunset Beach at the parking area across from the bakery. He also has been a maintenance person for a couple of our elderly sunset beach residents. He also built a bench for Surf Pines residents Art and Kay Limbird and mentioned he would be willing to build one for Surf Pines at no charge.     Keep your cats and small dogs safe.

    One of our residents on Ocean sent this to us as a reminder that we have seen Coyotes and Bob Cats around Surf Pines. In this video from their Ring camera shows a nice big golden tabby walking by their home. This was around 10:15 last night and they wanted us to warn people in the hood to keep your pets indoors at night especially when these predators do most of their hunting.     Regularly Scheduled Board Meeting of the Surf Pines Association May 15, 2020 4PM at Gate House

    Our regularly scheduled meeting will be run remotely at 4 PM on May 15, 2020. A few Board members and committee heads will still be at the Gate House but there will be no guests allowed to enter the gate house do to Covid-19 issues. (Here is a link to the Agenda) Our Director Austin Kaufman will be running the virtual meeting this time using Zoom.     OREGON AIR NATIONAL GUARD TO CONDUCT AIR FORCE SALUTE FLYOVERS IN OREGON

    It should fly over Astoria and down the coast at about 9:21 AM Friday May 8, 2020. SALEM, Ore. —  Link to Web Site The Oregon Air National Guard is scheduled to fly multiple F-15 Eagle flyovers over hospitals and other locations throughout Oregon during the month of May in order to salute Oregonians on the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic and lift morale during a time of severe health and economic impacts. The tribute is scheduled to be conducted by Oregon’s 173rd Fighter Wing, based in Klamath Falls and the 142nd Wing, based in Portland.  “This is a joint effort to demonstrate support and give thanks to healthcare workers, first responders,…
