How to confirm your vote is counted in Oregon
There is a site that allows all Oregon residents to confirm that their vote has been received and processed. Go to https://sos.oregon.gov/voting/Pages/myvote.aspx?lang=en and click on the Go to My Vote Now button to check to see if your ballot was sent or received. To log in you need your First and Last names and date of birth.
As you can see from the two attachments below, that we were registered and the status of our votes. I blocked out personal addresses for this post but thought people might like to see what it looks like. I believe this is similar in most states.
Annie and I mailed our ballots out last Saturday and as you can see below, my ballot was recorded as received on Monday 19 October. However, Annie’s still did not show as of this Thursday afternoon. So we called the county at 503-325-8511 and the call was answered immediately. We explained that mine had been recorded as received on Monday but Annie’s had not.
The person we spoke to was very peasant and explained that Annie’s vote had been scanned in late this afternoon and it should show in a few hours. She indicated there were so many early returns they were hammered. So both our votes were counted.
If you are not from Oregon try typing in MYVOTE and your State. Not only do we need to vote we need to confirm that our vote is counted. We need to be diligent and bring our country back to normal so please Vote and confirm your vote is counted. Hope this helps. T
