We have lost one of our own: Patrick Kelley

Patrick Kelley, a long time Surf Pines resident, died on Sunday morning (February 9) after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

After successful careers as university professors and then technical writers/editors, Patrick and Roger Masse (his partner of 51 years) retired from IBM and moved to Surf Pines.

Patrick was on the Surf Pines Board of Directors for several years and he and Roger wrote and printed the Surf Pines newsletter and maintained the Surf Pines web site for many years. 

Patrick could often be seen running and walking on the Surf Pines roads. Think of him doing that now.
